Hello all just bought a router and had some basic questions. First off, its a Linksys model. Its supposed to have a built in zonealarm pro i do believe. So if thats true, is there any need for software firewalls anymore? Also, if i wanted to share files over the router, do all the pcs only need to have the same workgroup? Also i was just curious, how good is the security on routers anyway? Any special things i should do? Thanks in advance.

If it has a built-in Firewall, there is no need to install any other Firewall softwares. Files-sharing can be shared over the Network irregardless of Workgroup.
